I've been away from my dear blog so I decided that it is time to "catch up" with some things that happened in January. Not that a lot happened this month, but it is always good to keep it up :)
Beginning of this month I went to Dacia's house for a "day of craft". It was so fun, we made jewelry and she taught me how to make flower hair clips for little girls. Bella has grown up and her flower clips are looking too small for her. Well, the problem is to make Bella keep them on her hair without losing them, like she did with the first one I made!! Oh well ... Dacia also taught me how to make tutus. They are so cute! I made a couple so far.
Thanks Dacia!

I've been also taking ski lessons up in Park City. Thanks to this awesome deal I can afford it ;) I've snowboarded before but I don't enjoy it as much anymore. So I decided to learn skiing and I love it. It is easier and lots of fun. It's been good for me and my mind. As much as I love being a mom and a wife, going away for a few hours on my own is a really good thing for me. It kind of "recharges my battery". I strongly believe it is important to find things you like to do outside of your "every day" routine.

I was also fortunate to take pictures of two adorable little babies. Madison, 5 weeks, and Andrezza's 8 days son. They are still working on his name :) I love taking pictures, but I've realized that not having the right lighting makes it hard for the pictures to turn out "professional" looking. Well, looking at the cost to start a studio I decided that I will focus more on outdoor pictures instead ;) Let nature be my background :D

More pictures of them here.

Bella is into princess lately. She can name pretty much every princess. But the funniest thing is when she says Sleeping Beauty ... she says "Sleeping Booty" hahaha. It is so cute! Another thing I think is so adorable is when she is tired. She starts to name all the things she takes to her crib with her like this "night night, binky, pillow, gaggy, covers, baba" all with a crying voice. It is so funny!

You have so many talents, Juliana. I am impressed and jealous. : )
ReplyDeleteHah! way to get your craft on! You should try to coax Dacia into doing the ski deal too! She's got really nice snow gear :D
ReplyDeleteThat last pic of Bella is tooo funny.
I'm so glad you could come down and craft with me!! It was so fun. We'll have to do it again sometime. Your pictures are looking so great too!! And that's awesome that you took ski lessons!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot going on! That is great. I haven't been skiing in at least 13 YEARS! It would be fun to take some time out of life and do something fun. Go Juliana!
