It's official!

I am proud to announce that I am officially an American citizen! The ceremony took place September 1st. It was a nice ceremony and it was great having loved ones there with me. It's good to have that done. My life now is here and being a citizen completes it all :) However, I am and I will always be Brazilian too! :)


Janel as so kind to watch my kids for me and when I went back to get them she had made ma a cake with the American flag on it! How cool is that? And it was sooo good too! Thanks Janel :)

    Yey! For a second I thought that was you at the podium. Oops. I think the flag cake was way too small...perhaps we need to get together for a bigger version?
