This is my 3rd time in Seattle. I came here the second time on a motorcycle trip with a group of + - 20 people. We actually only spent a day in Seattle. The rest of the time we were camping (somewhere, I can't recall the name now). Anyway, one thing that always catches my attention here, is how everywhere is so green! I guess not a surprise since it rains so much. But it reminds me a lot of Brazil. Green all year long. Coming from the cold snowy Salt Lake, first thing I notice is how green the city stays in the Winter time. I love it. I am staying in Bellevue and I seriously could live here. People golf here holding an umbrella! Not that I enjoy golfing but I thought it was interesting.
Today we visited the temple grounds and, to my surprise, tons of tulips have already bloomed! Most of the trees are starting to "come alive" again. It felt like a 'sneak peek' of the coming weeks.
I just love to see the changing of the season ... especially when Spring and Summer are the next two seasons ahead. I just can't wait ...
oh b e a u t i f u l ju! i'm glad you're having such a blast. i do miss you, but it's so great to see you with your sister & having so much fun with the kids. not like that's new - but still. you are so talented. keep enjoying it while you can - slc is beautiful, but man it's cold & winter here still!
