Not to forget

One of the MANY joys of parenthood are the funny things kids say. Spencer said a couple of things lately that I don't want to forget. 

- Spencer asked me in sacrament meeting last Sunday if he could have a treat. I said no because it was Fast Sunday. He stopped for a second and asked "Can I have a treat on slow Sunday then? ... hahaha ... My sister and I could not stop laughing!!

- I try not to let my kids watch regular TV. Qubo is the only "TV show" they watch. Last week though we were watching something and Spencer noticed a commercial. It was that ugly old looking lady with no voice about not smoking. He asked me why she talked like that. I told him she lost her voice was because she smoked and smoke is not good for you. Like a minute later he started to cry. I asked him why and he told me that he didn't want to lose his voice because of the "smoke detector"!! hahaha .. poor little guy! He doesn't know what "smoke" or "cigarette" means. I told him that the smoke detector won't make him lose his voice and he was fine :) Isabella added to the conversation that the lady had a hole in her neck! hahaha

I love them so much!!
